Ready to take your Charleston to the next level?
This three week class is for those looking to add some pizzazz, so brush up on those 20’s and 30’s style basics! The class will start with 20’s style Charleston rotations. This will set the foundation for the focal point of this class; the Charleston Swingout. Not only is this energetic and dynamic, but it is the early roots of Lindy Hop. It’s a wild and crazy and a ton of fun! Given time remaining in this three week class, we’ll also cover moves like Savoy Kicks and Tandem Reversals.
Each class will build upon information from the previous class to continuously further your knowledge week by week. Classes will be an hour long followed by a half hour of practice, questions, and individual help. No partner needed; individuals and couples welcome! Class highlights:
- Step by step, week by week instruction to make learning easy
- One hour of instruction per class plus a half hour of help/question time
- Learn from experienced instructors teaching as a finely-tuned, cohesive team

Quotes and Comments
“I wanted to compliment you guys on your dedication and skills as instructors. ... on Sunday I did have a break while waiting for Dawn and watched how each of you were instructing and I was impressed. Your love of the dance and dedication is obvious. ... For my own thanks, at every event I've gone to and danced Shag, Balboa, Lindy Hop (and the occassional Charleston) with others from around the world and I've always been thankful for what you guys taught. Most convincing (and testimony to your teaching) were the first times I travelled out of Florida and I danced with skilled follows from far away, and I was like - this stuff really does work all around the world!”
