We’ve posted some of the “shapshots” of our vacation online. You can check them out on our travels gallery. We’ll be posting some of the more “artistic” photographs we took later on. It takes a bit to process through them all.

So many times we have traveled only to come home with few shots with both Dawn and I in them seeing we’re usually the ones behind the camera… so special thanks goes out to Maria for getting the shots of us together! 

We’re back in town from our travels in the wilderness of the west. We’re catching up on everything right now, but we’ll have the photos online soon. We’ll also have the photos from the last dance online soon too.

At long last, I posted the rest of the vacation photos to our Flickr gallery. Feel free to drop by and comment. The first batch that I posted a few weeks ago are from England. The second batch are all from Ireland.

I have a special photo project that I am working to get online in about a week. After that, I’ll be working to backfill some of the photos that have been building up on me.

It’s the people that really make a swing scene and this is certainly true in Jacksonville. Dawn and I had a blast dancing and teaching up there this weekend! You couldn’t ask for a more welcoming, fun, energetic and enthusiastic group of dancers! Here is a group photo we snapped of some of the crowd at the end of the night Saturday…

On a side note, in the summer of 2000, a small group of Orlando swing dancers (including Dawn and I) used to make frequent trips up to Bolero’s in Jacksonville. After the workshop on Saturday, Sean (top row, far right) remembered that he still has photos on his website of us dancing up there. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
